grandfather ran businesses my dad has

always had kind of his side hustle I

I’ve always been just looking for

opportunities and ideas and things like

that and so um when I was still young

and trying to figure out what I was

gonna do with my life I had no clue

about internet marketing you know I use

the I use the internet to send me emails

and things I mean this is before

Facebook even came

about right and which I’m so glad I’m so

glad i got married before YouTube and
11:11
face but Facebook were big so I didn’t

have to do some big elaborate proposals

laughing um but you know and so I
11:19
actually I got started in kind of my
11:22
entrepreneurial journey I guess you
11:24
could say in real estate and so I was in
11:28
Southern California and I had some
11:30
friends we’re doing real estate and this
11:31
was in 2006 and so the market was hot I
11:34
think California probably had the
11:36
hottest market in the nation next to
11:38
like Florida and Texas you know and and
11:41
so in the small town that I was in where
11:44
it was actually probably the least
11:46
expensive real estate houses were still
11:48
going for four and five hundred thousand
11:49
dollars and and so my friends who are
11:53
like all you have to do is you you know
11:54
you just kind of walk down the street
11:55
and if someone was to sell her how she
11:56
put a sign in front of it and sold the
11:58
next day and you make a thirty thousand
11:59
dollar commission and I was like wow

that sounds great and so so I went
12:03
through and I got my my real estate
12:05
license realized it’s a little bit
12:07
harder than that realize it got a little
12:10
bit a lot more harder than that when the
12:11
market crash soon after and and realized
12:15
I kind of needed to actually do some
12:16
work right and so I I was kind of
12:20
looking to see where we’re I could
12:24
utilize you know market myself where
12:28
that in a way that wasn’t already
12:30
saturated you know this was at a time
12:31
when when I went through my real estate
12:33
training people are like oh they were
12:34
telling us oh go and put door hangers on
12:36
houses and neighborhoods go walk
12:37
neighborhoods and and do this kind of
12:39
thing and I’m just like that seems that
12:41
she sounds stupid and uh and so I
12:43
started looking to the Internet to
12:45
market myself as a real estate agent
12:47
there was really there was hardly
12:48
anybody at that time who is using the
12:50
internet there was a couple of companies
12:52
were promoting these kind of cookie
12:54
cutter real estate websites for like
12:56
five grand and and so I was like you
13:00
know I’m just gonna do this on my own
13:01
I’m I figure it out and so that’s kind
13:03
of been what I do all along is I’m just
13:05
gonna like I’m just gonna figure it out
13:06
that’s kind of my my go-to thing and so
13:10
and so that’s actually what got me into
13:11
internet marketing I decided I liked to
13:14
internet marketing a lot more than I
13:16
like real estate and made the jump and
13:18
for a long
13:20
excuse me for a long time I was uh I was
13:24
working and doing kind of just straight
13:27
ecommerce sales and and so we’d have you
13:32
know different products that we would
13:33
come up with we would kind of scour the
13:38
internet just time like prowling at 84

for the next next hot trend you know
13:45
what I mean like like those Kenny

skateboards they think they do haha I
13:51
remember those and and so we would we
13:54
find a manufacturer in china and and
13:57
then we come up on like a WooCommerce I
13:59
or a big commerce site or something like

that something that we could set up
14:02
quickly run some traffic and test it out

if it if it worked then then we would
14:09
you know order more inventory and if it
14:11
didn’t then we can the project and so we
14:14
did that with a lot of products lots of
14:15
supplements beauty products anything
14:19
that dr. oz mentioned and and then we
14:24
actually started getting clients who
14:26
wanted us to do this for them and so
14:28
there were retail clients and think we
14:30
at one time we had a client who
14:32
basically about a hundred ifferent
14:33
locations in Canada and they’re like you
14:35
get us this product can you give us this
14:36
product and so we would do that so
14:38
essentially what we were doing is just
14:39
kind of like starting and building new
14:41
businesses and then setting them on
14:42
autopilot and and so but the thing you
14:47
know the tough thing with the you know
14:49
when you’re doing trending products is
14:51
trends die right of course oh and so you
14:54
always have to kind of have to always be
14:56
on the lookout for for the next trend
14:58
and so that’s actually how i came across

click loans um was i was in some

internet marketing groups and the other
15:06
people mentioning clickfunnels I was

like all right I’m gonna check this out

and so I started using it and setting up

funnels for some of the products for

selling and and just kind of digging in

learning how to use it a little did I
15:18
realized that at that time clickin hose

had only been around for a couple of

months oh god it’s so I I you know using

the system and then they sent out an

email said that they were hiring and I

was like yeah I’m gonna this seems like

a cool company I’m gonna check it out

and so I applied and ended up I started

working with the support team and then

on the support team is kind of the same

thing like i was saying before i always

like to try and figure figure stuff out

and so I noticed you know on the support

team I was answering a lot of the same

questions and so I would would go to the

support docs and there wasn’t an article

there so I’d say okay I’m gonna I don’t

see an article so I’m just gonna create

one and so I just started doing that so

that way I didn’t have to keep sending

the same answer to people over and over

i could say okay here’s an art you know

and and so this pour des kind of grew

that way and then ended up actually just

being put in charge of it they said

alright cool you’re gonna do that now

and with that you know becoming the head

of customer education and with that the

Quick Start program essentially it’s you

know educating customers but on one more

more on one-on-one basis so that’s kind

people have to understand about the mark

is Mark’s a guy who spends a ton of time

people making mention of how much they

but the other thing is for those people

I mean this it’s a it’s a profitable

the people who are going through it as

they said it actually brought their

a video of someone else who hasn’t even

really been introduced and so it’s just
